A seller pays a flat A$19.90 + GST only when they agree to receive a lead: an introduction to an interested prospective member. There is no upfront listing fee. Any membership payments or gym transfer fees are separate and should be confirmed with the gym.

If the first introduction does not result in a transfer, TransferGym can provide up to two additional leads for the same listing at no extra charge. That means up to three introductions covered by the original fee. Our aim is to support a genuine transfer, with clear pricing from the start. A completed transfer still depends on both people agreeing and the gym approving it.

If you are taking over a membership, no. TransferGym does not collect your gym membership payments. Arrange those, and any applicable gym transfer fee, directly with the gym.

If you are the seller and agree to receive a lead, the A$19.90 + GST introduction fee is paid to TransferGym. Listing your plan remains free.

No. TransferGym is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with the gyms, sellers or prospective members using it, and we do not act on their behalf. Gym names identify the memberships being offered; they do not imply a partnership or endorsement.

Not always. Transfer eligibility depends on the gym, the membership agreement and the person taking over. Sellers should check with their home gym before listing. Both people should confirm the plan benefits, rate, remaining term and any fees with the gym before agreeing to a transfer.

An enquiry does not reserve the membership or commit you to taking it over. If it is not the right fit, you can enquire about other plans for free.

Yes. We plan to add more gym brands soon, giving you more locations and membership options to explore. The plans available depend on what members list, so check back for new opportunities.

A listing stays available until it is closed or has fewer than 14 days remaining on its minimum term. Listings below that cutoff close automatically, based on the date in Melbourne. Sellers can also close their listing from My Account once it is no longer available.

Not necessarily. Some gym memberships continue after the minimum term. Before taking over a plan, confirm any ongoing payments, notice periods and cancellation conditions directly with the gym.
